We had the chance to appear on City Talk's Breakfast Show today, so Sam and Alex went along and gave a fantastic LIVE interview about the SmokeOff campaign, plain packaging and the ways in which the tobacco industry manipulates young people! The interview went so well it was even replayed later on in the show! This was a great opportunity to let people know about us and of course we got a trip up the Radio City tower!

Another good meeting today! We have a great plan in place for SmokeOff - look out for us in Liverpool City Centre on Thursday 7th June!
The plain packaging consulation started on Monday so we had a guest speaker come to our meeting today to explain a bit more about that. We are keen to get involved in this and are putting together our action plan!

Filming

Hi all it's Matty here,

We have entered the Cut Films competition and our
task is to make a short film on smoking. We finished all our filming today and
the scenes look great! We just need to put some finishing touches to them,
then we can send it off to the competion and wait to see if we win!
We have 5 different scenes in our film, they contain the consequences and
effects from smoking.

That's all for now but will update again soon!

We had a great time yesterday at the Tobacco Free Futures Smoke and Mirrors conference that was held at BBC Media City! Not only did we learn more about plain packaging, we got to speak to other young people about the tobacco industry and their marketing tactics as well as promoting our SmokeOff campaign. We were also interviewed by Granada Reports with Karolina's interview being shown last night, and BBC Radio Merseyside did a live interview with Mariam and Areej! Autographs are available upon request!
